One place remains in the search for the next Hot Wheels Legend. Here are the four cars shortlisted for the Fan Favourite Vote. Follow the instructions via the Instagram and Facebook posts. Comment 1,2,3,4 or 5 on the post, depending on what car you want to vote for. The car with the most votes will attend the Gravity Car Show, where our expert panel of judges will decide which vehicle will be crowned the UK winner.

TOP 2 FINALISTS
This BMW E21 is the result of a 14-year restoration and custom build by a father-and-son team. Starting from poor condition, it has been transformed with mostly custom-made components and now features a Rover 5.4-litre V8 engine producing 420bhp. Regularly driven to events across the UK and Europe, this show-winning car came close to finalist status in 2022.
TOP 2 FINALISTS
This Jaguar Mark VII has been extensively modified, with a full conversion from a four-door sedan to a two-door pillarless coupé completed by its owner in seven months. Featuring a supercharged 4.2-litre V8 Jaguar engine, the car has been well received by both classic and custom car communities. The owner regards the build as a vision of what Jaguar could have produced in period.

This Austin A30 has been transformed into a unique track car over one year and three weeks, featuring a spaceframe chassis, wide bodywork, and a Ford 5.0-litre V8 engine. Inspired by the owner’s family history with the model, it now competes in historic Modsports and has appeared in various motorsport and classic car publications. The build is seen as a distinctive blend of nostalgia and performance engineering.

This Citroën 2CV features a custom space frame and was built over five years as a dare. It is powered by a Rover 4.6 V8 engine with quad cam Webers and fitted with Group 6 wheels and tyres. Aiming to entertain and surprise, this radically reimagined 2CV was recently featured in Autosport magazine.

This Volkswagen Lupo 1.0 MPI was transformed into a custom pickup over eight months, built entirely at home by the entrant’s father. All fabrication, from cutting and welding to shaping and fitting, was completed in their garage, with only the paintwork done externally. Debuting in July 2023, the build has since gained over 20 million views online and is widely recognised for its distinctive Hot Wheels-style appearance.

Built for SEMA 2024, this 1965 Fiat 500—nicknamed Project Bruno—fuses lowrider style with superbike engineering. Powered by a Ducati 996 engine and featuring a Ducati fuel tank, twin Termignoni exhausts, air ride suspension, and a widebody kit with dry carbon accents, the build also includes a bespoke roll cage, trike-style rear drivetrain, and custom wheels. Running on synthetic P1 Fuels, Project Bruno blends multiple automotive subcultures into a single radical concept, completed in one year.

This 1990 Volkswagen Polo Mk2 Coupé has undergone a four-year transformation, featuring a one-off wide-arch body kit, bespoke side skirts, a custom splitter, and rear diffuser. Finished in bright metallic surf green, it is powered by a 1.4-litre 16v engine running on CBR600 motorbike carburettors with a stainless-steel exhaust. The interior includes a modified Digifiz cluster and Recaro LS-C seats upholstered in grey Harris tweed with green stitching, complemented by a green under-glow kit.
